After more than a decade in the industry, I founded Torus Land Solutions to create the kind of engineering practice I always envisioned—one built on thoughtful design, clear communication, and genuine collaboration. I wanted the flexibility to work more closely with clients, give each project the attention it deserves, and create places that are not only functional but also meaningful to the people who use them.

my story &
background

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2013 and have spent the past 12 years designing and managing land development projects throughout Tennessee and the Southeast. My experience includes multifamily, commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments, guiding projects from early site planning and feasibility through permitting and construction.

I'm especially drawn to projects where engineering can enhance the natural character of a site through thoughtful stormwater management, water resource design, and public spaces. Every property presents its own opportunities and constraints, and I believe the best solutions come from understanding the land first and designing with intention.

I’m particularly passionate about projects involving parks, greenways, conservation-focused developments, stream and water resource projects, and other opportunities that strengthen the connection between people and the landscape.

At its core, I believe great engineering begins with listening—to the client, to the site, and to the long-term vision for a project. My goal is to create practical solutions that add lasting value for both the people who use them and the land they're built on.
